​If you believe your pet could be at our shelter, you do not need an appointment to come into the shelter. You can just come on up here.  ​ You will need a valid photo-issued ID, and proof of ownership, such as vet records/adoption papers, or pictures, and be able to pay a reclaim fee for your pet.  ​ Reclaim Process is as follows: Upon arrival at the shelter, please check in with the front desk. They will have someone assist you in looking for your lost pet, or processing your reclaim. You must show proof of ownership to reclaim your pet. This can be vet records, adoption paperwork, papers, bill of sale with description of the pet and your information, photos taken at least 6 month prior to reclaim date. These photo can be digital or actual photos.  Pay reclaim fees and sign reclaim paperwork.  Receive a copy of the reclaim paperwork and take your pet home.  ​ Reclaim Fees are as follows: $25 Admin Fee $10 Boarding Fee Per Day $5 1-Year Rabies Vaccination                          ​ $20 - Microchipping ​ ​ If you have any questions or concerns about fees and reclaiming a lost pet, please reach out to us 252-338-5222.
