Needed Supplies:
The following items are needed for dog and cat care, small animal care, and as enrichment for the animals in our care. Additionally, this list includes items needed to maintain our shelter facility, a trusted home for thousands of homeless animals.
Fleece Blankets
Our pups love having something soft to lay on!
We can use a variety of sizes, however the typical throw blanket size works best.
Dry Dog/Puppy Food
We go through
200 lbs. of dog food each week!
We use Small Breed, Puppy, Adult Dog and Grain Free Kibble.
Sturdy Collars & Leashes
Our pups like to be stylish too!
We can use a variety of sizes in both collars and leashes.
Kongs & Dog Toys
The stronger the better
We use more of the large and xl size toys.
Stainless Steel Bowls
Stainless Steel is best!
We can use these in different sizes but something that will hold 3-5 cups is best.
Cat Litter
We are always in need of litter
Our cats appreciate the little to be ast dustless as possible
Dry Cat/Kitten Food
Out kitties get hungry too
We use Kitten, Adult Cat and Grain Free
Pine Pellets
We use this for litter in our Cat Hall
This is available at Tractor Supply.
Dry Kitten Milk
For when we have bottle babies
This is a staple in the shelter, especially during kitten season.
Cat Toys & Catnip
Toys are always a good idea
Toys are great boredom busters, especially with catnip
Cat Den
Cat Dens for our fraidy cats
Keeps shelter workers safe from bites and scratches while also providing a "safe" place for less social cats to relax
